Not only is Okonjima a luxury lodge, it is also home to the AfriCat Foundation, a non-profit organisation committed to long term conservation of Namibia's large carnivores, especially cheetahs and leopards.
Situated half way between Etosha and Windhoek on the B1 highway.
Lapa (gathering place), curio shop and swimming pool. Activities from Okonjima include drives to track the leopard, view the cheetah, and learn about the AfriCat work. There's also the chance to sit in a night hide which is frequented by porcupines and other nocturnal animals.
Approximately 4 hours from Windhoek airport.

6 double en suite rooms that overlook a lush garden and open-fire entertainment area. Each en suite room has a double and a ¾ bed, a roof fan and lockable safe. Standard rooms (2 adults), bush and mountain view rooms (4 adults) with two double beds and a fridge, are also available.
