Days 1-3
Sunday-Tuesday
Selous Game Reserve
Met on arrival in Dar es Salaam and transferred to your
light aircraft flight to the Selous Game Reserve. Spend
the next three days and nights exploring the wilderness
of Selous with expert guides provided by Selous Safari
Camp. Whilst you may see many animals from the
comfort of the camp, a vast array of game viewing
activities are available. The guides can tailor your
experience by boat, open four wheel drive vehicle or on
foot, to make the most of your time there. Most game
activities are taken after breakfast, unlike in many parks,
due to the movement of the animals towards watering
holes. Game drives will often continue until lunch before
returning to camp for food and relaxation. The evening
game drive commences around 4pm and lasts until dusk.
Night drives are not permitted in the reserve. Overnight:
Selous Safari Camp. (b,l,d plus game activities).

island. The lodge is flanked by a fresh water lagoon
abutting a coastal forest, which spills to the edge of the
unspoilt and undeveloped beach.
Snorkelling equipment is provided for you to use in the
temperate sea and small coral reef. Boogie boarding and
kayaks can be used to explore the lagoon.
A tropical forest sits behind Ras Kutani where nature
lovers can look for four species of monkey. Overnight:

RRRRR
Safari by air
Southern Tanzania is all about the feeling of wilderness. Wildlife is in abundance and people are not, so matching a safari in this region
with an equally appointed beach property might seem difficult, however, just south of Dar Es Salaam lies the jutting headland of Ras
Kutani. Remote and beautiful, Ras Kutani boasts understated luxury and superb service in an environment that is as much about its wildlife
and topography as its stunning beach and freshwater lagoon.
