Caroline and Stephen started their honeymoon by flying to Kilimanjaro. On arrival
they transferred by road to Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s
smallest, yet prettiest, national parks for one night at Manyara Serena Lodge.
The next game reserve the couple visited was the world-renowned Serengeti,
where they saw a multitude of fantastic wildlife. They then travelled to the World
Heritage site of Ngorongoro Crater with its breathtaking views and abundant
wildlife. They stayed in superb Serena properties in both reserves.
Their last night in Tanzania was at Serena Mountain Village, hidden in the depths
of a tree-shaded coffee plantation. Caroline and Stephen chose to have a safari
vehicle for their exclusive use and comfort, adding a touch of privacy throughout
their safari experience.
After all the excitement of a safari the couple headed off to the Indian Ocean
Island of Mauritius for a week of blissful relaxation at a fully all inclusive Resort,
located on the unspoilt south coast.
Mauritius is a popular beach destination to combine with a safari from either East
or Southern Africa due to its relatively close proximity. Flights are regular and
scheduled, ensuring a smooth transition after the excitement and sometimes
unpredictable nature of a safari.
The honeymoon couple enjoyed a fortnight’s holiday
in Tanzania and Mauritius. They spent
• 1 night at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge
• 2 nights in the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge
• 2 nights Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge
• 1 night Serena Mountain Village, Arusha
• 7 nights Lux* Grand Gaube, Mauritius
They had exclusive use of a safari vehicle
throughout. Includes full board and game drives in
Tanzania, all inclusive in Mauritius.

they would use it as an excuse to take an adventurous trip
of a lifetime. In the case of Stephen and Caroline they set
their hearts on a ‘once in a lifetime’ honeymoon
experience, and they weren’t disappointed with their choice
of a private safari through the game reserves of northern
Tanzania followed by a beach stay in the Indian Ocean
paradise of Mauritius.
