ACCOMMODATION
Arusha Coffee Lodge
This exclusive lodge, on the edge of Arusha town, is designed around the
farm’s original coffee plantation home. A dining room overlooking a water
feature, a breakfast garden, a traditional colonial styled bar and a lounge with
open fireplace. Leisure activities include a swimming pool and children’s play
area. The 18 plantation houses have split level lounge areas, with en suite
bath/shower.
Tarangire Treetops
Situated in a private game reserve on the border of the Tarangire National Park,
with views to Lake Manyara and the Rift Valley. A bar, viewing platform, lobby
and dining area overlook a waterhole plus a boma-style dining area. Offers a
swimming pool, game walks, night game drives and bush dining. 20 luxury
elevated ‘tree house’ bedrooms, each with en suite bath/shower and private
viewing deck.
Manor at Ngorongoro
Approximately 20 minutes from the entrance to Ngorongoro Conservation
Area, and 1 hour 30 minutes from the Crater. The Manor is reminiscent of an
elegant, up-country farm home. The dining conservatory serves continental and
African cuisine. Facilities include a lounge, bar, snooker room, wine cellar,
horseback riding, mountain biking, a swimming pool and massage room. The
10 guest cottages each feature an open fireplace, private courtyard, deck and
en suite bathroom.
Serengeti Migration Camp
Hidden among a group of rocky kopjes
in Northern Serengeti, the camp exudes
decadence reminiscent of old Africa.
The restaurant overlooks the Grumeti
River whilst the lounge and sunset deck
enjoy views over the hills and river.
Leisure activities include a swimming
pool, game drives and game walks.
Each of the 20 guest tents have an en
suite bathroom, shower, fan and private
verandah with views to the Serengeti.

Day 1 Arusha
On arrival at Nairobi airport connect with your
flight to Kilimanjaro. Transfer to Arusha Coffee
Lodge (55km – approximately 1 hour). (l,d)
Day 2 Tarangire
After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park
(130km – approximately 2 hours 30 minutes).
Lunch at your lodge. Afternoon game drive.
Overnight: Tarangire Treetops. (b,l,d)
Day 3 Tarangire
Early morning and late afternoon game
drives. Optional activities such as game walks
and night game drives are available at an
extra cost. (b,l,d)
Day 4 Ngorongoro
After breakfast drive to Karatu and the
Ngorongoro
Highlands
(200km
approximately 3 hours 30 minutes). Lunch at
the Manor with the afternoon at leisure.
Overnight: Manor at Ngorongoro. (b,l,d)
Day 5 Ngorongoro
After breakfast drive into the crater for a half-
day (50km – approximately 1 hour) followed
by a visit to a local Masai village (time
permitting). (b,l,d)
Day 6 Serengeti
After breakfast drive to the Serengeti National
Park, with a brief stop at the Olduvai Gorge
and a picnic lunch en route (270km –
approximately 5 hours). Arrive at your camp
in the late afternoon. Overnight: Serengeti

Day 7 Serengeti
Early morning and late afternoon game
drives. Overnight: Serengeti Migration Camp.

Day 8 Arusha
Early morning game drive followed by
breakfast. Transfer to the airstrip (30km –
approximately 30 minutes) for your flight by
light aircraft to Arusha (approximately 1
hour). Lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to
Kilimanjaro airport for your flight to Nairobi.
Proceed with your chosen beach extension
(see ‘where next’) or return home. (b,l)
Alternatively, there is the option to fly from
Arusha to Zanzibar for your beach extension
(optional extra).

Where Next
Complement your Elewana Safari with a beach stay in Zanzibar (Kilindi is an Elewana hotel,

On this option, transfers and game drives are conducted by your own
personal driver-guide throughout your safari, in a standard 4-wheel drive
safari vehicle.
