Last chance to see the Migration in the
Mara
The wildebeest
migration is now firmly settled on the northwestern plains of
the Mara, some are grazing at Wogakuria while the mega herd is
stationed in the Bologonja region. The majority of the river
crossings into the Mara have taken place, however, this
year’s constant weather changes have affected the
Migration routing, resulting in the herds moving back and
forward across the river.
One of the last
months to see the migration in the Mara is October. From then
onwards the herds tend to start their journey back to the
Serengeti, however, this year is proving anything but
predictable!
