Somak Holidays is a family-owned and managed business which was established in 1968. Our main focus has always been sending leisure travellers to Africa. Historically, our biggest source market has been the UK but recently we have been very successful in sourcing clients in North America, Europe and The Middle East. As an independent, long haul tour operator we continue to prosper and are a market leader in many of the destinations that we feature. We own operations in Kenya and Tanzania that include three properties Kenya. We are looking for confident, dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team.

With all the uncertainty in Western Europe, particularly security issues and economic issues, the demand to travel to Africa is extremely high at the moment.

Thus, we need to recruit additional staff. Organising travel has become far more complicated in recent times. So successful travel companies not only need to ooze passion for the travel they are organising but they also need to be agile in organising that travel at a competitive price. It, thus, follows that people that work for successful companies need to be a) passionate and b) mentally agile in addition to all the standard criteria of being loyal, hard-working, honest, humble etc.
