Amakhala Game Reserve, near Port Elizabeth is the ideal, malaria-free choice for your 'Big 5' safari destination. It is a great location for travellers visiting Cape Town, the Winelands and the famous Garden Route.
This 18,000 acre private reserve is renowned for its truly awesome topography and wildlife. Amakhala has a selection of 11 properties consisting of country houses, safari lodges and tented camps located in varying areas of the safari park.

Discreetly positioned in the bush at the top end of an open valley in the reserve, each of the superlative en suite, tented and thatched suites overlooks a watering point with big sky views.
