Advance booking recommended and a donation of $100 per person payable locally. (Based on minimum 2 guests, children under 12 free). Kicheche Mara Camp: Community Discovery Trip Visit the local Aitong trading centre, a school, a clinic and the Mara Discovery & Empowerment Centre (MDC) which is a combination of tourism, conservation, environmental education and community based micro enterprises for an insight into the lives of the local community. This visit is usually made after lunch and followed by an afternoon game drive. Kicheche Bush Camp: Maa Trust A wonderful opportunity for guests to interact with Masai women, watch and learn about their bead-work and learn more about the Trust's programmes championing sustainable community development. Only 10 minutes away, this visit can be made as part of your safari activity. All Mara camps: Fly Camping Take an escorted game walk and stay overnight in a private mobile campsite. Next morning walk back to camp (vehicle transfers are also available). Overnight set-up is a lightweight fly-camp, staffed by a cook and a camp assistant. Must be pre-booked and an additional supplement of £60 per person applies, based on minimum 2 guests. Age restriction applies.
