So much so that almost a century ago it was reserved, exclusively, for Kenya's colonial Governors and their royal visitors. The camp is nestled along the winding banks of the Mara River. There are 37 en suite tents with a private verandah, including family tents. Governors’ Il Moran Camp This camp, with its added touches make it top of the range safari accommodation for those who are seeking that extra bit of luxury. The camp, which is hidden under ancient trees, deep in the forest, has the atmosphere of an original hunting lodge. There are 10 spacious tents with stunning beds, en suite bathrooms with lovely big showers, and a Victorian bath and an extended verandah. Loldia House, Naivasha Built around a courtyard, its main archway frames a stunning view of the dormant volcano Mount Longonot. There are 11 rooms with en suite bathrooms with shower. A double room in the top cottage features an outside bathroom. Little Governors’ Camp Intimate in character, this camp is built around a small watering hole that is teeming with birds and wildlife. The camp is reached by boat and offers an exquisite, romantic setting which has serenity all of its own. There are 17 tents with en suite bathroom with shower and private verandah.
