Situated at one end of a spectacular 12 kilometre beach stretching from Kizingo to the fashionable village of Shela, Lamu.

Delicious lunches and dinners, using only the freshest local produce, are served in the restaurant overlooking the Indian Ocean. A bar with magnificent views across the bay to mainland Kenya where giant baobab trees spread into the brilliant blue sky, is also available. Leisure facilities include snorkelling*, swimming with dolphins*, turtle watch, fishing*, guided cycle ride*, visits to historic Lamu town or Kipungani village*, bush walks* and sunset dhow trips.

Accommodation at Kizingo
8 very spacious bandas with an en suite shower and dressing area.
The bandas feature high-pitched thatched roofs and shaded balconies with fantastic ocean views. Each has a large double bed romantically draped with mosquito netting, plus comfortable chairs for lounging. Bamboo screens unfurl to give complete privacy (2 adults and 1 child).
