Jinka is a market town in southern Ethiopia, located in the hills north of the Tama Plains and close to Mago National Park. The extremely remote Mago National Park is located on the eastern bank of the River Omo. It is home to the wildest and most magnificent scenery in Ethiopia and boasts an abundance of wildlife. Other major attractions of this area are the local tribes, including the Mursi Tribe, famous for piercing their lower lips and inserting disks made of clay.
