Botswana - Makgadikgadi Pans

Situated directly between Maun and Francistown. Makgadikgadi Pans are the remains of an ancient lake, now glistening with salt as a result of the evaporation of the water. Wildlife can be seen congregating along the river shortly after the rains have arrived, and in the dry season wildlife goes in search of the shallow pools of water that remain.
Leroo La Tau perches high above the Boteti River, where, in the dry season, wildlife concentrate at the waterhole in front of the lodge.
A traditionally styled safari camp with impressive views over the river.
The camp sits on a grassy pan surrounded by acacia trees, with views across the landscape that change from desert to spring flowers depending on the season.
