What is the wildebeest migration?<\/h2>\n

Dubbed \u201cThe Greatest Wildlife Show on Earth\u201d, the Great Migration is a cycle of movement across the Serengeti and Masai Mara. The herds follow the rains in search of greener pastures and in the process, create one of nature\u2019s most dramatic scenes.<\/p>\n

Each year between July and October, the herds charge into the Masai Mara, crossing the treacherous Mara River where survival is anything but guaranteed.
