Hannah joined us on our Agents Educational trip to South Africa in December 2019 and shared her experience with us.\u00a0 It was her first time visiting South Africa and her first ever safari! We hope you enjoy reading all about it.<\/p>\n

1. Was this your first time visiting South Africa? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes, it was my first time to South Africa and first time on safari.<\/p>\n

2. Do you feel that being part of the Agents Educational <\/strong>trip and experiencing the destination has made it easier for you to discuss SA with your clients?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Definitely. I feel that I have a much better understanding of South Africa but also wider Africa as well. The Somak reservations staff on our Agents Educational trip were really knowledgeable and I feel like I have picked up lots of useful information for selling South Africa.<\/p>\n

3. Which was your favourite property during the trip?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We stayed in so many nice properties it really is hard to pick just one. I loved the house at Shamwari, but my favourite hotel was the Harbour Hotel in Hermanus. The One&Only Cape Town was also incredibly glamorous.<\/p>\n

4. What were your highlights and special memories from the trip?<\/strong><\/p>\n

As I have never experienced safari before this has to be the highlight for me. It was a totally new experience and I\u2019ve definitely caught the bug.<\/p>\n

South Africa is such a diverse country that it has something for everybody. The food and service throughout the trip was incredible and with the vast choice of accommodation and activities there is an itinerary for every budget. I was privileged to travel with Somak on their organised trip and couldn\u2019t have asked for more!<\/em><\/p>\n

They really looked after me and I have every confidence in their ability to look after future guests of mine that travel with them. Their staff are extremely knowledgeable and their turn around time for quotes and special requests is extremely efficient. Somak are always my first port of call.<\/em><\/p>\n
