An expansive 15-night tour which visits all the places on the 'Golden Triangle' plus many more fascinating areas. Exploring Mandawa, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, and Udaipur will allow you to experience many other facets of magical India.

Day 1 Delhi

Met at Delhi International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest of day at leisure.
Overnight: Vivanta by Taj Dwarka or similar

Day 2 Delhi

Visit Old and New Delhi. Visit Chandni Chowk and take a rickshaw ride, visit Humayun's Tomb, and Dhobi Ghat - the big open-air laundry. Drive past the presidential estate and other government buildings, stop at India Gate, visit the Agrasen Ki Baoli stepwell and Bangla Sahib Gurudwara Sikh temple.
Overnight: Vivanta by Taj Dwarka or similar

Day 3 Mandawa

Drive to Mandawa. In the afternoon, walk through Mandawa village and explore the fresco paintings on the old Mandawa havelis. You may have an ayurvedic massage in the late afternoon to rejuvenate yourself.

Day 4 Bikaner

Drive to Bikaner, a city of rich culture and known for producing great warriors. Imposing palaces, forts and stunning temples with great architecture reflect the elegance of the Rajput civilization. Visit Junagarh Fort and explore the local market of Bikaner. Take a tonga ride. Also visit the camel farm, which is one of its kind in Asia.
Overnight: Gajner Palace, the former hunting lodge of Maharaja of Bikaner.

Day 5 Jaisalmer

Drive to Jaisalmer. Arrive in the afternoon. Rest of day at leisure.

Day 6 Jaisalmer

Jaisalmer sightseeing - visit the Fort, The only inhabited fort in India. Visit the Jain temple located inside the fort. Visit famous havelis and walk through the local bazaar. Proceed to sand dunes and enjoy a camel ride.

Day 7 Jodhpur

Drive to Jodhpur. Check in at hotel, rest of day at leisure.

Day 8 Jodhpur

Visit the famous Mehrangarh Fort, a great complex standing on the hillside with incredible views of the city of Jodhpur and also visit Jaswant Thada and the local market.

Day 9 Udaipur

Drive to Udaipur, Venice of the East, en route stopping at Ranakpur.
Overnight: Trident or similar

Day 10 Udaipur

Udaipur sightseeing - walk through the old city, visit City Palace and Pratap Memorial. Visit sahelion ki bagh. Drive past Fateh Sagar Lake and enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola.

Day 11 Jaipur

Flight to Jaipur. Met on arrival and transfer to your hotel. Jaipur, Rajasthan's beautiful 'Pink City', is prominent among Indian cities for its wide boulevards, labyrinthine bazaars and opulent palaces. In the late afternoon, visit the local market.

Day 12 Jaipur

Enjoy a trip to Amber Fort, a marvellous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts reflected in the Maota Lake below. Visit a local school, interact with children and perhaps do some charitable work. You also visit City Palace, a complex of exquisite palaces, gardens and courtyards, decorative art and carved doorways, make a photo stop at 'Palace of Winds'. You will also have the opportunity to wander about a local market famous for cotton. Visit Laxmi Narayan temple and witness the Arti ceremony.

Day 13 Agra

Drive to Agra, en route stop at Abhaneri to visit the oldest and grandest stepwell of Rajasthan. Visit Mehtab Bagh to view the Taj Mahal from across the River Yamuna.

Day 14 Agra

Visit the magnificent Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Afternoon is at leisure to do your own thing.

Day 15 Delhi

Drive to Delhi, rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight: Vivanta by Taj Dwarka or similar

Day 16 Depart

Transfer to Delhi International Airport for your onward travel arrangements.

Note: The Red Fort is closed on Mondays and the Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.
