A great deal more to Kenya
Here’s a
great introduction to the wonders of Kenya’s wildlife.
This 2-night
safari to Tsavo East and Tsavo West is fabulous for those who
wish to ‘dip their toe’ into a Kenya safari, but
have limited holiday time. If you have ever wondered what it
would be like to spot wildlife in its natural environment and
then sit around an open fire under a starry African sky
retelling the events of the day, and listening to the distant
sounds of wildlife, well look no further, this safari and beach
holiday is just for you.
Monday
Fly from Heathrow overnight to Mombasa via
Nairobi (plane change).
Tuesday
Met on arrival in
Mombasa then depart for Tsavo East National Park. The safari
starts with a visit to Aruba Dam, one of the best places to see
elephants and lions. Lunch and overnight will be at Ashnil
Aruba Lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive.
Wednesday
An early morning
game drive is followed by breakfast, then a drive towards Taita
Hills Game Sanctuary. After lunch enjoy another exciting game
drive before returning for dinner to Salt Lick Lodge.
Thursday–Monday
After a morning
game drive and breakfast, head to your coastal hotel for 5
nights. Transfer is about 5 hours. For south coast hotels the
transfer includes a crossing on the Likoni Ferry.
Tuesday
Enjoy breakfast
and a day at the hotel, then return to Mombasa airport for the
overnight flight to Heathrow, via Nairobi (plane change).
