Oddballs Oddballs

Oddballs Camp is an exciting, affordable Okavango Delta experience particularly suited to those seeking adventure or an escape from it all.

On arrival at the airstrip you will be met by a professional guide who will accompany you throughout your stay. The guides who are local born and bred and know the area inside out, will accompany you on all your activities, walking safaris and mokoro trips. There are no motorised activities available, the whole ethos of Oddballs is take is slow and easy and enjoy a very personal African bush experience.

Guests usually go out in the early morning, returning for a late breakfast, and venture out again in the afternoon after the midday heat has dissipated. Should you wish to go out for the whole day, the staff will happily provide you with a picnic lunch.

For guests staying a minimum of four nights you may wish to camp 'wild' out in the delta on a mokoro trail accompanied by your poler/guide (to be booked in advance).

Location of Oddballs

Situated on the Boro River overlooking Chief's Island, deep in the heart of the Okavango Delta. The camp is accessible by light aircraft only and is a 20-minute flight from Maun.

Facilities at Oddballs

The central bar and lounge area has comfortable chairs and sofas, a selection of books and games, and raised viewing decks overlooking the delta - the perfect place to sip a sundowner and watch the sun set over the palm trees, and view the visiting wildlife.

Accommodation at Oddballs

There are 15 dome tents (including 2 family tents) set on elevated wooden decks, and shaded by shelters or trees. Each tent is equipped with bedding, a storage trunk and a light. They have a semi-detached bathroom with hot and cold running water and an outdoor bucket shower.

Board Basis at Oddballs

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, activities and laundry included.
