Motswiri is a small and personal camp, stylishly and comfortably rebuilt
in 2010. It meets the latest, exacting environmental standards and is
largely solar powered.
We pride ourselves on our personal service, attention to detail and
ability to tailor activities to suit individual requirements and interests.
Each day's safaris start and finish in the comfort of the camp where
delicious, wholesome food is aserved, and there is an opportunity to
relive the events of the day over a candlelit dinner.
During the dry season, longer safaris can include a ride out to a rustic
but comfortable fly camp, allowing for exploration of the more remote
and inaccessible parts of the reserve.
Location of Motswiri Camp
On the banks of the spectacular Selinda Spillway, an ancient watercourse
linking the Okavango and Kwando-Linyanti floodplains.
Facilities at Motswiri Camp
The central mess area boasts a large, comfortable sitting area with
separate dining. It has wonderful views of the Spillway and the wildlife
that is attracted to it. There is a discreet sunbathing area with its
own plunge pool in which to cool down during the heat of the day.
Horse riding safaris are a great way to explore the location, whilst
walking safaris bring you up close to nature. A mix of powered boats,
canoes and mokoros allow for a wide range of water-based activities.
Game drives and night drives are also available.
