Shaba National Reserve
Close to Samburu, Shaba has reserved its place in the history of conservation as the area where Joy Adamson experimented with the release of hand-reared leopards.
Meru National Park.
Meru is just seven miles from the equator and to the north east of Nairobi. Meru is famous for animals such as elephants, white rhinos, zebras, giraffes, kudus and predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs.
