Tailor-made Safaris in Kenya

Kenya, the subject of numerous wildlife documentaries, is one of the best places in the world for safaris. Use our knowledge and years of experience to create your perfect safari holiday. We can tailor-make your safari by road in your own exclusive vehicle for greater independence and freedom, or you can fly between the game parks by light aircraft.

Country and Coast

Begin with a leisurely journey through the spectacular countryside in Kenya to visit some amazing game parks, then head straight from safari to finish up with a relaxing stay on the beaches of Mombasa.

Our clients Brian, Vivienne & Michelle Hunt decided that rather than flying to Mombasa for a beach stay after their safari, they would tailor their itinerary to work in short stages towards the coast.

Driving shorter distances was less tiring and still allowed them to experience everyday life in the rural areas and towns of Kenya. Kenya’s eastern game parks are abundant in wildlife and there are chances to see all of the ‘big five’ in addition to a huge number of bird species.

A Magical Experience!

Bush, beach & birthday treats – the celebration of a lifetime

Design your own safari itinerary incorporating exceptional lodges and camps in fantastic locations.

Our clients John and Sue Harrison opted to tailor-make their itinerary so that they could stay in luxury accommodation where there were additional activities on offer to celebrate a special birthday.

Flying between the parks greatly reduced the travelling time and maximised game viewing time whilst at the lodges and camps. Fabulous panoramic views of the wilderness can be seen from above.

Anniversary Adventure

A Kenya safari is the perfect place to visit if you want to celebrate a special wedding anniversary.

Our clients Stuart and Yvonne Weston did just that when they travelled to Kenya on a tailor made safari to celebrate a special anniversary.

If your time is limited but you still want to see the wonders of wildlife and scenery that Kenya has to offer, then a flying safari between a couple of the parks is the perfect way to achieve your wishes, as this will cut down on travelling time and give you more time in the parks.

Flying Safaris in Kenya

Flying safaris have become more popular over the last few years; it can often be good value for money and it’s the perfect way to maximise time on safari when you have limited time available. There are no set days to take a flying safari so you have complete flexibility when creating your own individual itinerary around your personal requirements as well as choosing a duration to suit yourself.

When travelling on a flying safari you will transfer from Nairobi International Airport to the smaller Wilson Airport which is where all the light aircraft flights fly from. The luggage restriction on the light aircraft is 15 kgs per person, however, we as a company use one of the only ground handlers in Nairobi who have the facility to store all excess luggage at a secure lounge within the office complex. Time permitting, there are complimentary shower facilities and light refreshments available for your use at the lounge.

You may choose to either stay in one park or perhaps combine 2 or more parks.

On arrival at the park airstrip your safari experience begins immediately when you are met by a driver-guide from your chosen accommodation in a 4x4 vehicle which is normally open-top or open-sided (rather than a smaller safari microbus that are used on the road itineraries) – the game experience is most definitely enhanced! The game drives are in a shared 4x4 vehicle, but you can book a private vehicle at an additional supplement.

When you book a flying safari your travelling time is greatly reduced as you will land in Nairobi in the early morning and can be in the safari park by lunchtime, after a short flight rather than enduring a long bumpy road transfer of several hours. This means you will have time to have an extra game drive on the way to your chosen lodge or camp. You will have more time in the park as you may not necessarily have to depart as early, so you could fit in an extra activity such as a bush breakfast or hot air balloon ride over the Masai Mara.

The Masai Mara is the most popular safari destination in Kenya and home to the “big five”. Here you will have ample opportunity to witness the amazing wildebeest migration. Samburu is less crowded but offers flora and fauna of a unique nature in the semi-arid environment; it is extremely sought after by visitors wanting to view elephants and crocodiles where the concentration of these species is greatest.
