The successful applicant will work as part of a team that is required to ensure that all aspects of a client’s holiday run smoothly from the moment we accept the booking to the moment a client returns to the U.K. A polite and confident telephone manner is essential as the successful applicant will be dealing with clients and suppliers on a regular basis.Other areas of responsibility will include handling all aspects of ‘document despatch’; this will include the production of itineraries, invoices, etc, which need to be sent to clients and/or agents.This position will present the successful applicant with an opportunity to learn, in depth, about all aspects of Tour Operating; naturally, there is a rigorous training programme, which may involve overseas travel. The job will be diverse and the successful applicant will be hard working and able to work well under pressure. Applicants will need to demonstrate a high level of inter-personal and customer care skills and should be able to prevent problems by thinking ahead. A high level of computer literacy and a hands on approach to work is also essential.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
