Mahé

As well as being the cultural hub of the inner islands, Mahé is also the gateway to the other island beaches. Although Mahé is the most developed and visited island its mountainous interior remains undisturbed. The island's 75 beaches are spectacular, providing crystal clear water and safe swimming. Renowned for its nightlife, Mahé is the liveliest island after dark with several nightclubs and restaurants that serve up traditional Créole delights.
