Sarili Lodge - Shamwari

 

With African travel becoming a family affair, Shamwari Game Reserve has opened Sarili Lodge, a new luxury lodge ideal for families. This award-winning private game reserve, situated at the end of the Garden Route is malaria-free.

An environmentally friendly private African thatch designed villa with a spacious deck overlooking the Bushmans River with expansive views of the plains. The lodge is positioned in the southern region of the Reserve. The decor emulates an old traditional farmhouse with interiors that reflect an easy living home lifestyle in a natural environment.

Situated in 50,000 acres of 'big five' reserve within the malaria-free Eastern Cape.

Facilities at Sarili Lodge - Shamwari
Facilities include a bar/lounge area with fireplace, a dining area, a swimming pool with a shallow area for children, courtyard barbeque area, children's menu and a child minding service*. Two game drives a day in open 4x4 vehicles with an experienced ranger. Sarili Lodge also offers a special 'Kids on Safari' programme where kids aged 4 and older have a chance of a lifetime to view the 'big five', view a special educational film and visit the Born Free Foundation and Shamwari Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre.

The lodge has 3 king bedded rooms and two twin bedded rooms and feature air-conditioning, en suite bathroom, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, mini bar, telephone, safe, fitted international adaptors and a private patio or balcony.
