DAY 1 MONDAY HEATHROW-NAIROBI
Fly from Heathrow overnight to Nairobi.

DAY 2 TUESDAY TARANGIRE
Fly to Kilimanjaro airport. Lunch at a local restaurant. Drive to Tarangire, with a game drive en route to the lodge (215 km - approximately 3 hours). Overnight: Tarangire Sopa Lodge. (l,d)

DAY 3 WEDNESDAY NGORONGORO
After breakfast enjoy a morning game drive and return to the lodge. After lunch drive to your lodge located close to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (150 km - approximately 2 hours). Overnight: Ngorongoro Farm House. (b,l,d)

DAY 4 THURSDAY SERENGETI
After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti National Park (230 km - approximately 4 hours). Lunch at your lodge. Afternoon game drive. Overnight: Serengeti Sopa Lodge. (b,l,d)

DAY 5 FRIDAY SERENGETI
Enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge, or take an early morning balloon flight over the Serengeti followed by a 'bubbly' bush breakfast (optional extra). Lunch at the lodge. Late afternoon game drive. Overnight: Serengeti Sopa Lodge. (b,l,d)

DAY 6 SATURDAY NGORONGORO
After breakfast proceed to Ngorongoro with a brief visit to Olduvai Gorge, which is often referred to as 'The Cradle of Mankind' and is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world. Continue to your lodge for lunch and an afternoon at leisure. (200 km - approximately 4 hours). Overnight: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. (b,l,d)

DAY 7 SUNDAY NGORONGORO
Drive down into the Crater for a half-day of game viewing. This extinct volcano plays host to wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, gazelles, elephants, rhinos and big cats. Visit a local Masai village (time permitting). Overnight: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. (b,l,d)

DAY 8 MONDAY ARUSHA EXTENSION OR HEATHROW
After breakfast return to Arusha (200km - approximately 3 hours). Lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Nairobi. Proceed with your chosen beach extension or return to Heathrow. (b,l)

Alternatively, there is the option to fly from Arusha to Zanzibar for your beach extension (from £220).

Mara Extension: Overnight in Nairobi. Fly to the Masai Mara for two nights at the lodge or camp of your choice, including game drives. Return by light aircraft to Nairobi (from £610).
