On this suggested itinerary you can enjoy all that Cape Town has to offer. Take a cable car to the peak of the imposing Table Mountain, enjoy included tours of the city, the Cape of Good Hope, and sample the many wines that the winelands are so famous for, and still have plenty of free time to explore the Cape Town area under your own steam.

After the hustle and bustle of city life in Cape Town, jet off to the natural beauty, and a much slower way of life in Mauritius. Here you can relax on one of the many idyllic beaches, take advantage of the many water sports available, or simply enjoy your hotel's facilities.

DAY 1 HEATHROW-CAPE TOWN
Fly from Heathrow overnight to Cape Town.

DAY 2 CAPE TOWN
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel (25 km). Overnight: The Table Bay, or similar.

DAY 3 CAPE TOWN
Enjoy your included half-day city tour with stops at Table Mountain cable car station, where you have the option of ascending the mountain by cable car (optional extra), the South Africa Museum, the Malay Quarter and the V&A Waterfront. Overnight: The Table Bay, or similar. (b)

DAY 4 CAPE TOWN
Tour the rugged Cape Peninsula, visiting Hout Bay, the penguins on Boulders Beach and the naval village of Simonstown (200 km). Overnight: The Table Bay, or similar. (b)

DAY 5 CAPE TOWN
Explore the winelands of the Western Cape to the picturesque town of Franschhoek, where you will have free time. In the afternoon continue to the university town of Stellenbosch (180 km). Overnight: The Table Bay, or similar. (b)

DAY 6 CAPE TOWN
A full day free to explore Cape Town. Overnight: The Table Bay, or similar. (b)

DAY 7 CAPE TOWN
Perhaps take an optional tour to Robben Island. Overnight: The Table Bay, or similar. (b)

DAY 8 CAPE TOWN
Free to relax on the V&A Waterfront. Overnight: The Table Bay, or similar. (b)

DAY 9 CAPE TOWN-MAURITIUS
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Mauritius where you will be transferred to your chosen hotel late in the evening. Overnight: Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort, or simiar. (b)

DAYS 10-15 MAURITIUS
