
Joy's Camp

An elegant oasis in the arid lands of Samburu with rugged hilly terrain, with great rocky kopjes (small hills) and lots of springs supporting the abundant wildlife.
Each sumptuous tent is uniquely decorated with Boran/Somali cloth design, handmade glass and the vibrant fabrics of the local nomadic tribes creating a chic, sophisticated and stylish camp.
Location of Joy's Camp
Situated at a serene oasis in Shaba National Reserve. The camp is built on the site of Joy Adamson's tented camp. She was a naturalist and author, best known for her book 'Born Free'.
Facilities at Joy's Camp
Offers a dining & bar area and bush dinners. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool, day & night game drives, bird watching and guided walks.

10 chic tents with en suite bathroom and private deck (2 adults and 1 child).

Breakfast, lunch & dinner included.
The Camp is closed in May.
