Central Highlands

Kenya's central area is hugely diverse with jungle, great mountains and green hillsides, and towering above the region, Africa's second-highest peak, Mount Kenya.

Climbing the peak is a memorable and recommended activity with plenty to see en route. There are lots of flora and fauna, with the opportunity of seeing elephants and lions in a compelling highland environment. Kenyans claim that the area has one of the most perfect climates in the world.
