Situated on the Nile picturesque Aswan offers visitors year round sunshine. The Nile is particularly beautiful here as it flows around giant granite boulders and palm-studded islands. You are within easy reach of the Nubian Temples on the shores of Lake Nasser and you can also visit superb botanical gardens and the massive High Dam, but many simply sit and watch as the feluccas glide by.
